My dealer told me I had this code on my order. What does it mean?

Retail orders are prioritized between 3-19. It's the last thing the factory considers when scheduling.

Depends on a lot of unknowns...
How many orders are in their order bank?
How many orders are prioritized 3-9 (better than 10)?
What configurations are prioritized as 3-9 in their order bank?

If you're the only order... 10 is a great number!

Does the dealer come up with it or does Ford when the order is placed?

10 is the highest priority that a dealer can assign. Anything lower is assigned by Ford.

Actually, that has changed. Dealers now assign 3-19.

As far as 10 being good, if your dealer has everyone at 10, then it’s completely meaningless. It’s value is solely dependent on what your dealer has allocations for and where you stand with others at your dealership.

me too. I’m at 19. I emailed my dealer yesterday and asked him if my order is still good etc. He said everything is still good and my order has been delayed(obviously).

I'm also a 19 and my order was accepted within 30 mins of the MY24 order banks opened up. Who the hell knows when things will get moving and when these trucks will be built.

At the height of the Bronco reservation order fiasco, my order was assigned a 10 and 150 days later my zBronco was in my garage. So there’s that…..

Dealer assigns the priority. But it doesn't matter for allocated vehicles. For allocated vehicles Ford picks what they build based on parts availability.

So a dealer could have one bronco at 10, another at 19 and the 19 would be built first if there was a shortage of parts for the one with the higher priority.

But if it was something like a Mustang, where there really are no shortages, then the number tells Ford what priority the dealership wants the deliveries.

And it's only really within a factory. A Mustang with a priority 19 will get delivered before an F-250 with priority 10.
