Ford makes money by actually shipping and selling Broncos…..right? After waiting 2 years from reservation and multiple reorders I finally got build date for my WildTrack 1st week of May. Well here we are almost mid August and still shows “in production”. For a few days it showed that it had the seat belt recall so presumably it got built but that shows cleared. Dealer had call in with zone manager and still no news. I did get 2 of the “we have issues” blah blah email from Ford. Did they lose it ? Will it still have the new car smell ? “Stay Pumped”……?

I had a very similar wait a couple years ago. I can attest that it is well worth it.

Nice truck and thanks for encouragement ! I went back through emails. The order was first confirmed March of 21! We are more of a hook ‘‘em household but lots of A&M friends 😁

I've gotten to saying "Ford makes desirable cars cuz they can't made good cars". That presupposes they can make enough, or even some, and deliver them to customers in the first place...

Really, I think the issue is that Ford is highly siloed and top-down. There's a lot of CYA, info-hoarding, and sniping that goes on in command-and-control organizations where departments don't really get along, much less work well together. Add in the dumpster fire of the car dealer network and the percent of unhappy customers can skyrocket.

I had a whole list of complaints when I went in after 18 months waiting (five weeks "in production"), thankfully I got the price protection and everything worked out. And my Bronco's been mostly defect free (save for the window seals being replaced).

I'm sorry you're going through it. Hopefully you'll get your ride soon! And then you can join us out at Bridgeport for a day of wheeling. Roll hard! ✊

You have way more patience than I have. Two years waiting is beyond my comprehension. Unlike others who will tell you it’s worth it, nope I like the vehicle, but after using it for over a year, I don’t think it’s worth that much of a hassle. Good luck to you.

If this vehicle were anything more a want, I would have moved on long ago for sure! In moments of frustration I went looking for a F150 Raptor or Denali, but if you can even find one on the lot, the prices are crazy. I still have price protection on Bronco. This is the new world of car buying.

I had a home there........dare I say the wait is worth it? But it is. Crazy that folks are still enduring this, which is why I actually do hate Ford even tho' I love my Bronco. They just suck as a company.

Did you ever get your vehicle?

I’m in similar situation but at about 2 months stuck in production so curious how long this wait is going to be.

Man.. all these stories about waiting 2 or 3 years for a vehicle.. it's wild.

I paid 3k ADM and left that day with my bronco.. works out to what? 5$ a day for 2 years to NOT have to wait 2 years for fulfillment?

Worth it.

Mine sat on dirt mountain for four months, no new car smell. On a positive note, I didn't smell of dead rodent either. Hang in there, it's worth it.
