Question about scheduling

Hi All, I'm sure this has been brought up. I was trying to search for it but wasn't having a ton of luck. I was assigned a VIN and finally got an email from Ford (first I've gotten). The email said I'm scheduled to be built the week of 2/7. I just got this email this past Saturday (1/22). When I click the link it takes me to the tracking page but just shows the generic "Your order has been entered into the Ford Ordering System. It will then be scheduled and placed in the first available production week. Once scheduled, a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and estimated build date can be provided. Be sure to view the Vehicle Summary section and learn about the features on your vehicle."

I feel like being built on 2/7 isn't realistic and it doesn't' say that anywhere on the tracking page. I know people get their build dates shifted often. Does this seem like a typo of sorts? Not sure how I could have been pulled so late in January and be scheduled for the second week of February. I thought scheduling was always like a month out. Just trying to figure out some realistic expectations.

I got the same email the other day for being scheduled week of 2/7. Alot of people were saying that they weren't getting emails about scheduling and that they had been asking their dealership or calling customer service so they have gotten multiple dates and changes with out the email. You may have been pulled prior to the email going out. I guess we'll see if the email means anything but seem to me that emails just hadn't even been going out for a while until recently.

Yeah you could be right. I guess this is a good problem to have.

I received a build week and VIN from my dealer on Thursday, but haven’t received any email. When I input my VIN into the tracking landing page, I receive exactly the same message as the OP.
