I find this very interesting. I just read a post where a gentleman ordered a bronco about a week ago Dec 6 21 and already has vin and build date with no prior reservation. Granted he bought the black diamond 4dr soft top 2.7 V6.
I ordered my base sasquatch 2door 5 speed in oct when you could place 2022 orders from five star in Carrollton. I perviously had a July reservation.

No word yet on vin or build date. I'm In an odd situation because I'm hoping it's available towards the end of 2022 not the begining.

A) my lease on my ranger ends in Dec 22
B) I'm in the process of having my house built and can't/ won't use any new credit until I have my mortgage complete and keys in my hand. Around July or aug.

I know the consensus is on 2 door is well over a year wait which is fine by me, do to above situation. Seeing post like the one I just mentioned makes me wonder if I should 99 my order until closer to my he closing date. I would hate to see my bronco come in and I have to let her go because I simply can't buy it yet.

I may be talking just to talk but it's odd how these orders are going out. I'm genuinely at a loss what I should do. Hmmm

Is your initial reservation date July 2020 or 2021?

Sorry 2021
Yep, mine is July 14th at 4am and still no VIN or build date. However, it depends on the dealer you're with -- a dealer with lots of prior year sales and not many Bronco orders can turn it around very quickly. Since you're an early reservation you'll probably want to '99' your order so it does not impact you new home loan.

I am willing to bet 5 Star has a lot of reservation holder orders in front of you but I would still 99 the order if you can't take delivery before April.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I’m going to call my sales rep and have him 99 for now.
I’m not in a rush for the Bronco so maybe me 99 will bump someone else in front of me :D

If your credit is good and your income can afford the mortgage and Bronco, getting the Bronco before your mortgage won't matter. If your credit is average and you are pushing your debt to income ratio, 99 the Bronco.
