I strongly dislike mudflaps on the Bronco ... but I need them.

I watched some YouTube video a couple of weeks ago about some mud flaps specifically for the Bronco that can be installed and removed in just a few minutes. I can't remember which were front and which were rear, but one position needed a small bracket added and the other installed directly. One position could be installed/removed with no tools and the other had a couple of fasteners for each one.

I've dug through a bunch of mud flap threads here and none of them mention the ones I'm looking for.

Anybody know of some quick install/remove mud flaps?

RokBlokz are the only ones I've seen. I originally wanted them till the price came out @$400. Just bought some universal ones to throw on the front.

Thanks for the replies so far. It looks like RokBlokz might be the ones I was thinking of. I'll study them a bit.

Once the price is high enough I can sometimes be persuaded to give up some functionality for a cheaper solution. We'll see on this one.

And in case anybody is interested, I discovered that you can look at your entire YouTube history at https://myactivity.google.com/

(I went back two months and couldn't find the video I thought I had watched. And apparently I've watched way too many YouTube videos.)

I installed these gatorback ones.

I was looking at rokblokz at first as well (thanks to that video) but they were sold out and I didn’t want to wait to get chips. These are also cheaper.

The install was fairly easy and they seem secure. The bottom rubber portion is what is removable and slides out away from the vehicle. They don’t stand out too much and I like that they don’t have any logo or writing on them. Just be careful you get the right ones- depends if you have oem rockrails or not.

IF you have an OBX, I put these on today, generic mud flaps from Autozone, cut with side snips, two screws into the running board. Turned out ok, I think. Someday, I'll replace those running boards with something more off road friendly and at that point, re do a mud flap modification.

Once installed, our units remove/install in about 10 minutes: https://ticklemybronco.com/products...h-mud-flap-guards?_pos=2&_sid=a87892f98&_ss=r

I finally got some mudflaps for my Bronco. It's only been four months, right?

I went with the WeatherTech flaps. The price is reasonable at $55 per pair - $110 total plus tax. And they seem to be decent quality and reasonably easy to install. The hardest part of the installation was getting the Ford fasteners out so I could put the new WeatherTech fasteners in there. The fronts are definitely quite a bit more work than the rears.

Here are a couple of photos of them installed:

Now I just need to go find some mud and test them out. ;)

I bought and started to install the Gatorbacks, but after I test fit it, I thought they ruined the body lines of the Bronco and re-boxed them. Guess I’ll live with the rock chips. Anyone in Northern California interested it buying the Gatorbacks (brand new, front & rear, never been used) DM me.
