would like to take advantage of the current 20% off sale
can I fit/install the slide-out tailgate in a 2025 Outer Bank Sasquatch Bronco ?
I tried when I ordered it but no go for some reason (weight) ?
If I buy it and install it will it affect my warranty ?
called my dealership and they had a hard time answering ??

thanks for any help

Not on an Outer Banks SAS -it does say it on the website somewhere in there. But you may want to look into this thread anyway.....

just left Kennedy Ford in Conshohocken PA.....they said adding the slide-out tailgate won't bother the warranty so I bought it saving the 20%

they enrolled me in Ford Pass program with my cell phone
(I'm a world class idiot when it comes to computers)

about a week they said, I'm gonna install - seems easy, 12 bolts or something

nice helpful people @ Kennedy Ford in Conshy PA

You guys are gonna love it!! I use it every day and it is a bonus. You will lose some height when storing your doors and roof panels and you have to reach to get access to your jack and storage area below. After 16 months with my EG, I have to say it is one of the best accessories to have available.

the slide out is 20 1/2 " and it extends 18 1/2" from the back of the tailgate. It is solid steel and locks in place. as you can see from the pics you have to reach 18 1/2" if you are standing in the back, less if you reach from the side.
Hope this helps.

so I'll be taking the "lids" off the existing compartments before installing the slide-out gate ?

Guys,
I have an Everglades which makes the slide out a factory install. So, I have no experience trying to remove it or install it, I am sorry to say. May have to bounce this up to a wider audience to see what's involved in the install. I have never had a need to remove it.

I have the carpeted cargo area underneath my dealer installed Ford slide-out. The original rubber cargo liner was removed for the install. The carpet cover piece is still over the jack compartment but I believe the “cooler” is uncovered. There is a rubber mat on top of the slide out tailgate now. Not sure if it’s the original and just got moved upstairs or if it’s another one

To access the jack, I have to slide out the tailgate, lift or remove the lid/rubber cargo liner on top of it, and then move the carpet piece over the jack.

EDIT: I’m going by memory here. I’ll check to be sure I’m not full of sh-t when I get home.

fast forward on Ragnar.Kons video to about the 16:00 mark, looks like they improved the access to the jack area with just a one piece plastic cover.....

I hope

His video finishes off the same way as the Everglades factory finish.
