Slide out tailgate aftermarket trunk options

Hey there,

I’m super happy with my slide out tailgate. We’ve used it several times around the campsite, enjoying views at the Golden Gate Bridge etc. However, now that I’m looking for a fridge slide and other possible trunk mounted kitchen solutions I’m finding none are designed for the slide out tailgate. I am particularly interested in American Adventure Lab but unfortunately they don’t have anything that works with the slide out tailgate. Wondering if anyone has come across any products that work for this setup?

It is not my rig. I’ve been considering something from them. Nice thing about the system is it’s completely modular. The Overlander Kit (https://www.nomadkitchenco.com/product-page/nomad-kitchen-overlander-kit) with 20” pantry fits perfectly.

There are really good instructions online. They use the 4 tie downs in the back and a unique strap system.
