I like race red but I don't like it with orange interior accents on the Badlands....Hope there is choice with interior accents.

I went out to the local ford dealer and they had two ecosports next to each other. One Race Red and one Ruby Red (like Rapid but just slightly darker).

I have to say from the front, in the shade, Race Red looked very nice. But in the bright Florida sun Race was orange to my eye. Too orange for me. If I was living somewhere with less sun I would go for it but not in Florida.

I'll share the photos but note that they do not show how orange tinted Race Red was in the sun.

My mustang is race red.. And yes in certain sun it does have an orange tint.

It's an acquired taste for sure.. You'd be surprised how many compliments I get on my car....and it's just a base V6. ?

God. This and so many other questions I wish could be answered by Ford execs.

I wish there were press conferences for vehicle reviews like football games. But Ford would no doubt be as forth coming as Bill belichick.

So Ford offers a red that’s orange, and an orange that’s yellow. (My wife hates yellow and every time I show her “cyber orange” she tells me it’s yellow. If FORD just offered Twister Orange from the mustang, my order would be done )

Does anyone know how Race Red compares to the former Bright Red (E4) paint which was available on '95 & '96 Broncos?

It looks very similar, from the photos at least.

Always likes the Race Red, never strayed from it, but I have had "Race Red" colored cars in the past, most recently my 2006 Torrid Red GTO and matching trailer I built. My current Flex is Ruby Reb, much like the Rapid Red sort of color, but the Flex lends itself better to that color than a brighter red.
