Thought I'd ask, but has anyone tried or have any ideas on options to mount this Escort Max 360 radar using the dash accessory mount on the bronco? It uses a EZ Mag Lock normally. Just trying to utilize what I already have vice suction cups or the like? Here's the link on Amazon: Escort MAX 360c Laser Radar Detector. Something tells me no, but what a nice use of the mount if it existed.

In general you should mount as high as possible below the windshield tint. Mounting lower drastically reduces ability to see threats. I’d recommend a blendmount metal bracket that mounts to your mirror here.

I had one for my v1 and have one now for a dashcam. They’re nice high quality and have power tap kits too.

I've got a mirror mount for my other vehicles. The problem w/ them is they protrude into the view of the windshield. My thoughts w/ mounting on the dash is the vehicle is pretty high already w/ Sasquatch wheels. Certainly as high as my other vehicles when mounted to their mirrors. Plus, it wouldn't interfere w/ the view as much. Like I said, I don't think there's really an easy solution other than mounting it w/ suction cups or the mirror mount idea.

It’s in relation to your car, not the road. Passengers and seats and the swing gate are interfering. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip, but I prefer to know where they are before they know where I am.
/s but

Just be wary those don’t work on the hand held LiDAR, which is more common now oppose to Radar. LiDAR doesn’t get picked up on those.

Get bumper mounted laser jammers. It really pisses cops off but isn't actually illegal in most states.

I've got a 3M mount for mine that is permanent, and pulled USB power off the mirror wiring.

Have several Escort products and all but the Bronco are mirror mounts. The Max360 is a bit heavy for the mirror mount so I ordered the AR Racing billet accessory mount, added a GoPro mount, added two round magnets and voila. nice placement and exceptionally quick to remove. Magnets are strong enough it has never displaced while driving and USB plug to accessory plug in the dash.
