Gotcha, makes sense. According to the dealer I bought it from used, which was also the dealer it's been maintained at its whole life and where it was bought by the first owner, TSB 23B35 was already performed unfortunately. So it seems like I'm probably SOL on that one unless they think they can disable the feature altogether.I guess you could always try it, but they’re likely talking out of their ass lol
If you look at the way the wiper recall was done to fix the over-sensitive sensing issue, Ford had to send us an actual programming box which we then basically connected directly inline to the wiper motor module because they are not programmable from the factory or by using the Ford factory programming tool (FDRS)
So the chances you can change or alter that programming is unlikely.
