Anyone using the Ram Rail mount? Was considering it to mount my GoPro, phone and Garmin Tread Overland.
I had the rail, returned it. my phone bounced and jittered all over the place. The only way this would have been solid is if it was drilled/mounted.

I didn't need a full length rail, so I ended up going with the Archetype SLAP mount.

1” ball and 6” arm.

6” arm and 1” ball. Trying to upload some pics but the files are too big. 😡 I’ll figure it out and get some pics on here.

Okay, I see you have the Overlander, I have the Tread Overland which is 1" taller, 2" wider and weighs 1/2# more. Not much but can make a difference.

I think you’d be good to go with the exact setup I’m using. Like I said, it’s rock solid.

I'm going to try it. If nothing else I can use 3M tape on the grips for the defrost vents and the feet. Holes can't be reversed and glue can be cleaned. Additionally, I do not have the lux pkg so I have to go with the IAG power point and it looks like the plastic of the RAM mount can be removed to expose the std USB port.

I just bought the Tread. A lot more features than the Overlander. I see what you mean about the Tread being heaver. I set it up exactly the same as the Overlander and it is still rock solid. 1" balls work great.

Yep, this one,

With the 2" ball and arm I'm thinking it would be at a comfortable level.

Though I am wondering how they got the hero switches reversed..............
Surprised no one answered this.... The hero switches appear reversed because if you notice to the right... the start button and the steering column... right hand drive.... OR at least that is what I thought... until you zoom in and see that all the text on the screen and start button are mirrored as well... Photoshop mirrored image. They used it to highlight the product and I guess the graphic artist liked the lower left to upper right view better.... so rather than taking another pic... they just mirrored it.

I knew they were the "land down under" and since the earth is flat they have to walk on their hands... but I did not know they use "mirrored text".... Cool, learn something new every day!😆
