I doubt Ford would supply Bestop with a complete unit. Most of these companies in the Detroit area just get body shells to fit parts for mockup, they don't get complete runnings vehicles.

Maybe in some cases yes. We have shops scattered all over the Detroit area making parts for the big 3. Usually they will have several partial bodies with no doors sitting on pallets outside, can't even tell what the vehicle is.
