I made the mistake of testing driving a new 2025 Bronco Raptor and immediately traded in my 2025 Badlands w/Sasquatch for it. When I bought the Badlands in April 2025 I signed up for the Off-Roadeo in November in Las Vegas. I remember it being not expensive but don't remember the exact cost. Because of life, I wasn't able to attend, cancelled and forgot about it.

Today I received the email about the Raptor Off-Roadeo and went to sign up. I made it through the sign up process but when I went to check the total was about $1k. It appeared that the guest fee is $795, far higher than I remembered for the Badlands.

I emailed the info address and they quickly responded that it was indeed $795 for a guest and linked the Raptor FAQ. https://broncooffroadeo.com/broncoraptor#moreInformation

He also copied and pasted part of the FAQ explaining the charge:

Raptor Experience guests go beyond filling an empty seat. Your guest(s) will enjoy an incredible day at Raptor basecamp and opportunities to engage with our expert coaching team. They will also partake in delicious meals, campfire (weather permitting), and more. There is one provided Bronco Raptor vehicle per registered owner, so your guests will share a vehicle with you. To drive, guests must be 18 years or older and must present a valid driver’s license at event registration. Driving guests can share the owner’s drive time during any/all trail drives, Raptor ORX learning course, and vehicle demonstrations (at the owner’s discretion).

When I went to the Bronco FAQ the guest fee is $195 and the explanation of charges is very similar to the Raptor explanation, with the most significant appearing cost to be the meals.

I wrote back tot he guy asking what one receives for the extra $600 cost for the Raptor Experience. Again, quick response acknowledging the higher fee but neglecting to answer the "why" and simply directed back to the FAQ.

So, a very long way to ask, did you receive an extra $600 of value for the guest fee for the Raptor Experience vs the regular Off-Roadeo? I'm not interested in taking a Vegas vacation without my wife. If I can't swap the Raptor Experience for the regular Off-Roadeo, I will again skip the event.

Interested in hearing the thoughts of Raptor owners who attended.

That's a huge increase! I went to the Moab Off-Roadeo last June with my other half. I don't remember the guest fee, I want to say it was $75, but it might have been a little more and NO Where close to what you were quoted.

Initially she was not planning to drive. On the day of the event, during the check-in, we were asked if she wanted to drive. While we were thinking about it, the guy checking us in said, "there's no additional cost, we just need to see her driver's license".

We thought, what the heck? We registered her, she got to drive, and loved it. There was a nice meal at the end, but it sure wasn't anything super expensive.

It was hot that day with temps well over 100 degrees, so no one really stuck around for the campfire at the end of the day.

$600, is crazy to me

Yeah, I can't speak to the Raptor details, but I just did Bronco OffRoadeo in Vegas about 8 weeks ago. ... free for me and $200 to have my Jeep-owning sister attend and drive as well.

I was told it was $795 to come back to any of the Bronco OffRoadeo sites for a half day. I'm thinking about doing that at a different location (TN) a little closer to actual trail conditions I'll see in SC.

I would gladly pay the $200, hell, I'd pay the $795 if they could explain the $600 higher cost for the Raptor. I fear it is just a money grab.

My son and I completed the Raptor Off-Roadeo over spring break. We had a blast. When you take into account the maintenance needed to keep those BRaptors road-worthy and the fact they provide catered meals for lunch and dinner, I would gladly pay it again. My son and I have memories we will never forget.

I believe, regardless of which truck you own -- Raptor, Bronco, Sport -- you can sign up for any class you want. Not sure they'd have let me do the Raptor class maybe, but the Sport class was certainly selectable.

Even though I have the HE trim, I was thrilled to try the BL and the front sway bar disconnect switch (especially given the rocky Red Rock Canyon terrain).

I just did the Raptor off-roadeo last Friday, took my daughter with me, we originally paid the $795 and then I got an email offering a $300 discount. They did honor the discount and refunded us the $300, and I saw someone on facebook that claimed it was discounted a few times before they took the offer at $195 for the guest. If your going to do it, I would sign up and wait to sign the guest up to see if you can get the discounted rate, I didn’t get the offer until about a month after I registered for it.

For the money, it was a good experience, but after paying the money I think the guest should also get the free swag, but that wasn’t the case. Something to know before you go, they have a slick camera setup that records your adventure, but you have to pay $101.xx after tax to purchase it. Add in some shirts and other merch there, easily you’ll spend another couple hundred there.

Thats nuts. no more prep to keep those serviced up than the regular Bronco's. They are all mixed together to get washed and maintained at the end of the day. I went to Moab on Halloween. I remember 195 dollars for a friend to go along and no up charge for adding him as a driver. Staying at the Resort right there was the priciest part of the whole deal, but well worth it.

Same price as the year before, Nov 24. I agree about what the wife gets out of it. She had the chance to drive the race track but backed out after she saw others go through it. I think the video was not worth it at all. $150 as I recall.

With the regular Bronco, as we neared the end of our eligibility, is when the discounts started appearing, jumped on it when the guest was free.

Ask anyone who has been and they will (almost universally) say it was worth it. It's a tough pill to swallow, but you will get to do SO much more than you probably will ever experience IRL.

Did the Raptor Off-Roadeo in Las Vegas (Mount Petosi) with the wife just as you are describing; it was worth the money to me.

This is a premium experience with professional drivers - not something you can repeat on your own or even in the other Off-Roadeo experiences. I would stop comparing to other Bronco experiences because it is not an apples-to-apples comparison. Examples: 1. they will teach you and you will jump a Bronco, 2. they will teach you how to drive a Baja course (coach in vehicle as you navigate, even better than jumping your Bronco), 3. they will have you rock crawling far more gnarly stuff than the non-Raptors.

I feel like my Raptor is worth more now that I know what it can do. Not trying to put down other Bronco owners, or be a jerk, but the Raptor is a different vehicle than it's brothers and the Raptor Off-Roadeo experience is tuned into that.

If you go, please consider having some cash to tip your driving coaches, minimum $20 each. These guys are professional drivers that do this in the off-season to continue to pay for their in-season racing.

Interesting point, I will go and will take my wife. I like the idea of adding the guest at the last moment.

It does sound like a different experience but not convinced it is a $795 experience for a non-driving guest.
