Wow! Tagging the big boys @BigMeatsBronco @Bmadda @TeocaliMG

Loren for sure has the connections at Ford Performance to get all the electronic stuff figured out. Praying they come up with a kit!

I spoke with Lauren about this and on his builds. on the 5.2, they didn't hook up any of the electrical dew. Hickeys...they run a th400 race prepped trans. No goat modes work, ABS is removed, NONE of the factory modules are retained on that build. In other words, they did it the easiest way possible. When I do this, I intend to keep all of the electrical. Dew, hickeys, intact and make everything work. As good or better than factory, including lane centering.

it will be great to see the 7.3 working with all the electronic stuff intact. Even though I don't believe a antiquated push-rod motor belongs in the bronco.

I've put a lot of research in time into this and it's totally doable and all the electrical doohickeys and Wizardry can be figured out pretty easily the biggest hurdle is the initial cost.

These guys at Lone Star Axle claim they're about to get the computer figured out on a Godzilla swap:

And yes, that is an authentic East Texas drawl.

@BigMeatsBronco
Sad to see they stuck in a solid front axle.
This makes one wonder if they just don't wanna build a new oil pan that fits around the factory fdu? So they changed the steering. Now it doesn't have advanced cruise control, Trail turn assist, or stability control. Cheese d*** red necked way to do it in my opinion.

I was going to say, that is a much easier way of doing this.

Strip it down to the frame.

Convert the front to a 3 link.

Run hydro steering.

Have the ECM be stripped down to the bare minimums.

BCM stripped down to the bare minimums.

Well, they are an axle company... lol Personally could care less about ACC and TTA, but I get that others do. I just wouldn't be worried about it for myself.

And I gotta say this is the first time I've every seen a serious off roader bemoan a SAS...

No thanks!!! adding a few hp with an oversized-antiquated NA v8 is NOT worth making it ride like shit, steer like a jeep, have NO ABS and traction control, no cruise controll, no trail turn assist, ect... There's NO way that ugly front axle has the correct ABS tone ring, trust me.

What a caveman build with no brains, all Brawn.

the 460hp 5.0 is a better option!

and the 760 hp 5.2 is the best choice!

Aren't you kinda describing the KOH Bronco rigs? For a daily driver, sure, but for a tow in who cares.

Im not the only guy that hates solid front axles...I've never been a fan of solid front Axles... All my serious rigs have been independent front suspension, and will continue to be that way. I was so glad to see king of the hammers Come about and watch the ifs/irs Rigs beat the solid the front axle junk! Even my semi truck has 6 wheel Independent suspension.

I truly believe the solid front axle is as antiquated as the model t.

Have yet to see any newer 6g Broncos competing at KOH with a solid front axle swap. And I hope I never do.
