Someone out there has the money for it, Id tag Ford to make the suggestion but cant seem to

dont need a coyote, could be a custom fox, Id trade the 420-460 for 350-380hp, just looking for sound and reliability, as NA is less parts than FI

I have F150s with all three engines. Both eco-boosts and the coyote. The 2.7 is the quickest and the 3.5 is the best for towing. The coyote sounds the best but it is inferior to both eco-boosts in every way, other than that. With all that said, I would still probably consider the coyote just because it would sound so cool in a two door bronco.
How about maintenance and reliability? I have a 2016 F150 5.0 with 190k miles and all its needed is a water pump, starter, and the leaking coolant line connector. I don't think i'd ever own an Ecoboost that wasn't under some kind of warranty.

V8 would be sweet. Although either way- new or swap it's $$$$$$$$. I'll bet a V8 Bronco would have been 100K or over, similar to the Jeep Hemi. And swapping in a V8, Coyote engine is going to cost and value will be well over 100K. Way too expensive for me- I'll stick to the 2.7 unless I have millions I don't know what to do with. Even then I might donate it to a good cause instead.........

We literally drive them for hundreds of thousands of trouble free miles. My last was a 5.0 that my son has now with 205k miles. Before that I had a 3.5 Ecoboost with 200k. My current 2.7 has 129k and it’s had nothing but oil changes. The previous two trucks had nothing done to them either. They even had original brake pads. Take care of stuff and it will take care of you.
