Looks like Ford will offer the U.S. Ranger in a classic truck layout for the next generation. Too bad the windshield looks like it was dropped on the roof, but at least they got the configuration correct.

Also, that's a great configuration. We would have gone with that over our Super Cab with 6' bed on our Ranger build. Although I must say that the 5th gen Ranger being developed for other markets first made it's looks much more palatable to us than what will surely be a display of Truck-Nut-Busting and overly artificial psudo tough-guy American truck styling.

I'm not sure of the length or girth requirements required to own a modern American full-sized truck these days, but i'm guessing the owners manual would stipulate something close to a horse in size.

I'm not so sure it will matter to quite a few folks, on this forum. They'll call it a car, and then be surprised when it drives like a truck.
