Just a heads up-the last few people I’ve talked to that recently tried to order it haven’t had any success. Maybe that’s changed though. But I’m absolutely a proponent of running a rear winch only if choosing to run a single winch. Especially on the bronco.

I’m just going to make my own as there are some changes I want to make anyway. Currently we moved the winch further towards the rear to accommodate the 2.8 gallon tank, and cut a second fairlead hole in the bottom to make it easier to winch straight down if desired. (Suck down or not enough winch points to use snatch blocks to winch forward. Though not super excited about that option with the whole “driveline” thing spinning around)

This looks really good. Could you post some more photos of the winch bumper setup? Side and top view?
Here is a close-up view. I will need to take a few more pics for you. This is not long after I did the install.

It’s too bad there’s not a readymade rear winch option. Adding 70+ pounds to an already nose-heavy vehicle doesn’t sound fantastic to me.
I went with the removable option since I’ll probably only carry it with me a few times a year. I’m actually surprised there aren’t more removable options. I was looking for one for my wife’s jeep. For sure I thought they would have one given all the aftermarket support jeeps have, but no luck.

Yes! If you used an exhaust system that moved the muffler there would be plenty of space for a winch in the back.

Wow, thank you for all the great info in this threat! I am also in the same boat with a 2026 Bronco Badlands 2.3L manual on order with the 360deg camera and adaptive cruise control (the top Lux package). I like the hidden mounts because they don't mess with the camera or cruise control systems, they have do have access issues if you are stuck in mud or deep snow, IMO they are less likely to be stolen or messed with (vs having a bumper mounted high winch), they are semi-protected from the sun, rain, ... and they minimize and keep added weight closer to the center of gravity. The two big players seem to be Rough Country and Lobo (hopefully they are still in business). Both require mods to the frame (cutting off frame extensions) and both restrict access to the free spool manual switch. Not sure if both require relocation of the control electronics, but it would seem like a good idea. Additional concern is will this mod void some or all of the manufacturer's warranty (maybe just the frame?). Anyway, after lots of online info gathering, I am thinking of going with the Lobo hidden winch install and a Warn Zeon XP (not cheap but it does have wireless control including spooling). Thanks again for all the help!

Check out this thread for another option:

I like this option since I do not have to keep the winch weight on the Bronco full time.
