Just pulled in for oil change at dealer. Said rear camber is off. 22k on the clock and have not hit any potholes or trails since last dealer oil change. Is this odd or normal? Seems odd since the rear is a solid axel.

Sounds like they don’t know what they’re doing or the machine is out of whack. -2.3 would be very obvious to the eye on the rear of a bronco. Funny how it’s the exact same on each side as well. Take it somewhere else.

If it’s one of those “alignment checks” when you first pull in for service, those typically aren’t very accurate unless they’re setup perfectly.
I’m willing to bet setting it up on an actual alignment machine would show different results

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I’m going to chalk it up to a Hunter equipment drive in check glitch.

Yeah that raises a red flag. The tubes are somewhat thin and can bend with abuse but it doesn't sound like that's the case. If it were jumped or something I'd expect them to bend into positive camber if anything.

I think you'd hear something if it was off. It would throw axle shaft alignment off and you'd hear it in the bearings.

Yes, over the years I've experienced a few shops trying to see if I don't know what a rear axle is.

Even after I talk about it, they persist in the scam, almost like they think I'm guessing about my comments.

Maybe their thought process is they don't want to waste their time with knowledgeable customers, so they persist in the scam. They don't care that it drives off those who know.

A good alignment shop can tweak the alignment of the solid rear axles on front wheel drive cars, but this sounds like a wallet flush.

Do you lift the Vehicle by the rear pumpkin? The solid axles on today's cars and trucks are so weak that they can bend. If bent even the slightest bit, that would make the result more positive camber than the spec which is what the sheet is showing.

The Bronco manual says to lift by the rear axle but as close to the wheel as possible. My truck specifically says to never lift the rear by the axle unless close to the wheel, basically the same thing. It's a shame but in the effort to reduce weight, parts suffer.
