I’m considering building out a rear section of hardtop. For me, if I could shave off some money by not putting the wiper hardware in the glass, then that’s more parts somewhere else. I’ll still keep the glass and wiper in my actual hardtop.

@HoosierDaddy - I do generally drive with the headrests down. I also only clean the glass once a week or so. I just think it looks nicer without the half circle - even if it’s a bit dirty. But, again - I’m mainly not going through the effort to run the wiring and plumbing.

Sorry for your loss.

I do generally drive with the headrests down.

Ehhh, pay me no mind, I was just half joking around.

I keep forgetting to try the rests lowered, but the daughter actually drives it way more than I do LOL!
(company van & fuel card for work) and if I do get to drive it , odds are she'll be back there standing the headrests back up.

When I first got it and noted the small view thru the rearview, the very first thing it reminded me of was all the uproar about the tiny wipe area in the pre-reveal spy shots ... and now that I had one, I could see that was all the wipe area they would need.
This thread just kind of brought that memory back.

Thanks for thinking of us, it's still kind of raw. We miss him.

Yes, all came off. Wiper motor / box is held on with an epoxy caulk. Tried a wire thread, no luck. Used a 4" wide puddy knife with a body hammer and just kept working it around till free. I capped the washer feed and tucked the cable in the side panel.

I did not remove the sprayer head on the back window.

Pics will have wait till Friday. If you need the plug for the window I can send later.
Mind posting those pics when you get a chance?

How'd you pry the wiper off? Service manual states using a Two Leg Puller...
