Recovery boards recommendations?

Looking to purchase a set of recovery boards and don't really know what brands to look at. Anyone have any good suggestions? I would like to get a set that will last. Also any other suggestions for recovery gear?

MaxTrax is basically the gold standard for recovery boards

Don't waste your money.

Traction boards are a joke. Get some proper recovery equipment like a hi-jack, tree straps, and chains for whinching and jacking the truck. Get a tire plug kit and an air compressor for trail repair. Get a solid med/bob/stomp bag going and a good tool kit. Skip the fad overpriced never useful boards.

Honestly, a bag of kitty litter is better than the best recovery boards 98.9% of the time.

Tricky Motor Sports had some decent boards that won't break the bank.

As for other recovery gear, a winch would be in order IMO

I've got a set of ARB TRED GT. MaxTrax is great but a little too much $$.

Traction boards are a low priority item. 2" ratchet straps can reset a bead, used to winch out a vehicle and various other bad ideas.

Rhino USA has a lot of recovery equipment at very decent prices. They are also made in USA! Small company from Murrieta/Temecula area in SoCal. I’ve owned several of their products and they are very well made. Look them up.

I bought a set of recovery boards 8 years ago. Never once used them. They just take up valuable space. I've never once seen anyone else actually use them either.
If you weren't all the way across the country I'd give you mine.
