Replacement Sasquatch Shocks

My original Bilstein's look like hell at this point. A lot of corrosion problems where I live. I'm wondering what the prevailing wisdom is on a replacement set? Not looking to change the ride or height, just need some solid replacement shocks to maintain stock Sasquatch suspension.

Bilstein 6100's are what Ford Performance uses for the upgrade. I have the 6112"s (spring+shock combo) on my Badlands and while its a little bit firmer than stock, I find it a better ride overall. I think the extra firmness is because of the springs anyway.

You could also consider the Bilstein 5100 shocks as well.

If you're not looking to change the ride or height, you can always pick up a low milage set of take offs and save some money

I’m going to order the Hoss 3.0 Fox kit for my Bronco this summer. I’d love to upgrade to something higher level but right now I have other things I’m looking into. I have 8112’s on my F-150 and they are truly amazing. I’d love to do those or the Live Valve offering from Fox on the Bronco one day.

Try and find take off or low milage assembles coil overs makes the swap a lot faster. I gor a set of Hoss2 for USD 280.

I agree with you on the 6112's. The ride and height are perfect IMO.

Bilsteins are firm at low speeds especially on chop and high frequency stuff like wash board but pure joy at high speed. I speed up for speed bumps and anything high frequency.

Saved a ton of money vs Fox 2.5 I had ordered a couple days before finding assembled Hoss 2 takeoffs, that I would still like to try.

Unfortunately I was only blessed with zip ties and rubber sealant when they did the recall. Plus it was only the rears, right?

Yes, just the rears. I now have new rears and have been wondering if I should do the fronts since I have 65k miles.

I had the pooky plastic guard and zipties for my recall, so I soon after installed the Dobinson MRRs but I hear their IMS shocks are pretty good. Love the MRRs they were rockstars in Baja last month.
