Thinking out loud here...

After seeing some pictures and videos of the heritage bronco's with the removable rear windows, I'd really love that feature on my MIC top Bronco if it's possible to retrofit. The interior surfaces and window shape of the MOD top appear to be the same as the MIC which got me thinking that the rear window openings between the two might be similar or even identical. I tried searching for the part diagrams but didn't have much luck, hopefully they're available individually vs. being part of the whole rear shell. I'm wondering if the window frame parts (if you can get them) could be installed into the MIC top to retrofit the removable windows. I'd imagine all the parts won't be cheap, but if the cost isn't totally crazy it might be worth the effort. Would anyone be able to find the part numbers or part diagram for the Mod top window parts?

The mod top has only been out for a minute so I doubt anyone knows but I seriously doubt there is any retrofit ability. If you look at the mod top there looks to be a frame to support the removable window so the MIC top would have to be able to fit that ... if you could even buy it separately then you'd have to get the windows too as the MIC ones wouldn't fit.

Us HE order holders are already having a hard enough time trying to even get or keep scheduled due to the mod tops so if you could retrofit them good luck trying to find them!

I'll have mine in a couple of weeks so I can take all the detailed photos you want if you want to try and pursue it.

That frame is the part I'm interested in, and of course the mod top rear windows since they're different. Although with about 10 minutes more research it looks like it won't be possible...

The pockets on the windows of the MIC top are much shallower:

You can see here the much deeper recess to accomodate the window frame and seal:

I'm really surprised that someone hasn't made sliders yet, that's all I really wanted vice the whole window coming out and then having to store them and not getting them broken.

Sliding windows or even pop out ones would be amazing. With the frameless windows on the doors there really aren't great options for venting while camping in the back. Removable windows would open up possibilities for maybe replacing a window with something vented, not to mention just taking them out on nice days.

I was wondering the same thing. I got tired of waiting on the mod top and went with the mic.
After seeing a mod top in person. I can confirm the window pockets molded into the Mod top are much deeper. Us mic top owners will have to hope for an after market option.
