Reuse skid plate when swapping Capable to Modular Bumper?

I have a capable bumper on my Bronco currently switching to modular. Do I have to change skid plates or is it possible to use my skid plate ? Thanks in advance.

I'm not 100% sure on the Capable.

On the Plastic, the front skid plate you could cut about 4" off the front and tuck it up under the bottom lip of the bumper and it turned out ok. A sawzall or jigsaw made quick work of it

If you didn't want to cut the plastic, then yeah, you needed a new skid plate.

I ~think~ it's the same with the Capable, but not certain.

Your skid plate should work fine if you’re going from capable to mod, they are the same.

The metal OEM front skid plate (Ford calls it bash plate) is interchangeable between the capable bumper and the modular bumper. When I swapped my plastic bumper for a capable bumper I had bought a skid plate from someone with a modular bumper that had put a hidden winch on.
