If you are looking for a true off-road roll cage, most people have them custom fabricated. They basically build them inside the vehicle. My experience comes from the Raptor world. Maybe some Jeep guys will have some other solutions.

You should change out your seat belts to a 2 or 3 point harness and race seats to avoid hitting your head on the cage in the event you roll.

I second the above. Haven't seen any aftermarket "kits" for a roll cage. If you want true rollover protection, you'll need to have one fabricated. I would think there is a shop near Boise; my local shop can custom make just about anything. https://www.xo-fab.com/ No affiliation, just a customer.

Are there any aftermarket roll cages? I don’t trust the soft top to protect me in a rollover situation.
What are you talking about? The entire upper body structure is constructed with boron steel, and meets federal rollover standards. It's an integrated roll cage.

The entire roof system structure IS the roll cage. I know this for a fact.

The stock support absolutely will not keep you safe in a high speed desert rollover. Better safe than sorry when it comes to your life, there’s a reason all actual off road vehicles has several inch thick roll cages.

Mmmm, you might want to ask Ford about that.

EDIT: According to you, the Raptor is inept, and Ford under-designed/engineered it for "high speed rollovers" and anyone who buys one is just waiting to die in a rollover.... unless they outfit it with some over-engineered, over-sized Mad Max cage contraption. Law-suits waiting to happen, I guess

You obviously haven’t seen people die in rollovers off roading before. If the roll cage that ford built was so good then the factory Ford racing Broncos wouldn’t have roll cages 😉

As others have stated you need to talk to local fab shops or better yet a buddy that can weld really good and break out that wallet. 😬 Any aftermarket bolt on system isn't going to provide any better protection then how it comes from factory and if you need that kind of roll cage you will need 4 point harness for sure

That the factory sports bars comply with NHTSA requirements and IIHS ratings is not in doubt.

And that it (the factory sports bars) won't comply with SCORE or SAE regulations is also not in doubt.

Perhaps instead of the long-winded back-and-forth of @MythlinMasterdo asking an open ended question, then getting upset with the answers, we could cut to the chase?

@MythlinMasterdo what organized racing are you planning on doing, and what is their governing body regulations for which you're confused about the roll-cage requirements?

This will guide us to give information to a shop which will be able to build a certified roll cage for the racing you're planning on doing. Obviously, this will have to be something replaced/updated whenever the regs change. But let's all be thankful it's not SCCA cone racing or your cage would need to be warmed over constantly!

There are essentially zero bolt-in roll cages which will provide you enough safety beyond what the boron-steel sports bars are giving you. Perhaps something will come out eventually, but the bolt-in cages are seldom the proper answer to the question you've been beating around the bush in asking, vaguely.
