Rubber Floors Cut off

Anyone with the ruberrized flooring look under the dash at where the rubber ends? It looks like they let a 3 year old cut it off. Just wondering if this is normal or the proper way to do it. Maybe I will just get some black silicone, trim neatly and seal it up.

The passenger looks a bit better, but could be because the liner is there to mask the dramatic color differences.

I assume that's soundproofing under, wonder why it doesn't cover like psgr side

I dunno if I'd seal it because trapping moisture

Just don't look under there anymore

I’m excited for the wash out floor and have been for awhile. While I’ll probably never look up under there or really care what it looks like (as long as it’s not obviously visible)…..
