Rusting accessory bolts

Lol, zero problems on my 2.3 soft top or 2.7 hard top. If a couple of easily replaceable bolts trigger y'all so badly then maybe the Bronco isn't for you.
I have a 2 year old JL wrangler 2 door soft top, with plenty off these bolts. It sits outside in the snow/salt all winter. No rust, it has never leaked, the floor heat will cook the front and rear passengers feet, that’s right 2 door with heat that exists and works in the back. The heated steering wheel is very warm and never shuts off. The bronco really is a piece of shit! Most likely going to abandon mine when it shows up.

Mine came black for sure and still look brand new. (Sorry pic isn't great, I zoomed in on a wide one.) I took delivery in mid November. They must be using different bolts. Bummer.

What a piece of shit this vehicle is. They have been making and using various plating methods and black oxide finishes for 100 years. Does it have to be the cheapest piece of shit, before they can put their name on it. Including the bolts! @Fordmotorcompany
Black oxide offers zero corrosion protection. The bolts above are definitely not coated. Should have something like a Magni coat.

Neat, but I could hop on over to any of the Wrangler forums and find people complaining about all sorts of issues. However, I am sure the majority of the people on that forum, and the majority of the Broncos owners here, have had zero issues with their vehicles, myself included.

The bronco really is a piece of shit! Most likely going to abandon mine when it shows up.
Please do.

I'm sure the bad bolts will be replaced under warranty but does anyone know specs on stainless replacements? Mine are rusting after one night of rain and I'd just assume to go ahead and get stainless ones now for the long term.

it honestly seems easier to go to your local mom and pop hardware store and just get stainless steel hardware. For all four screws, no more than $6. Warrantee rad but all the trouble? i'd just let them know and replace myself easily.

The Bronco really is a shitty model !
Never seen a new vehicle with so much problems that should never happen in the first place !!
It's one problem after the other ...

Hard tops, engines, valves, battery, soft tops, water infiltrations in WAY too many places, paint problems, windshields, premature rusting parts, christmas tree in dash, car shutting down with no reasons, seat problems, directions, and the list goes on and on and on ...

Never been that much enthusiast for a new vehicle and get so damn disappointed & disgusted by the non stopping problems they have !!

And to say that are sold tens of thousands over MSRP ... They ain't even worth the base price they are supposed to be sold at! 🤦🏻‍♂️

It surely ain't looking like Ford has put nearly 10 years developing it!
As if they never saw or or had any of these problems !

It like they never even test it before putting them out for sale !
Haha then get a different vehicle. Bronco isnt for everyone and looks like its not for you. 0 problems in my Big Bend

I never considered joining a random forum, then wasting time digging through posts, then taking the time to post on said forum for a company/vehicle that I hate. That's why I haven't joined a Jeep/GM/Chrysler forum. Just not sure why someone would waste their time trolling some random forum that they hate so much. 🤷

Mine look exactly the same. Stopping at the dealership next week to have them take a look.

Hello! This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd like to see how I can assist you on my end.

Picked up my 4dr wildtrak on Thursday 3/3 and today I noticed the same issue! Has anybody gotten an answer from the dealership yet?

Yeah, I'd love to know what coating they ARE using, I've never been able to find anything black other than PC that holds up over time...
