But the cost is not baked in to the mid package, see my post above. It's cheaper to get the mid w/auto than a stand alone auto upgrade on a BD or BB....
First it's not cheaper for the 2.7L-
So Auto is already Standard ( baked -in ) when you select the Mid-Package and the upcharge is just $1495.
You still need to look the Build Price Dealer Reference Guide for all Models standard & optional transmissions:
Bronco Build Price Dealer Reference Guide (bronco6g.com)

For BB-10-Speed Automatic Transmission
Note: Standard with Mid Package
Note: Standard with 2.7L Engine
Note: With Standard Package, Standard on 2-Door Advanced 4x4 and 4-Door Advanced 4x4 with 2.3L Engine.
Note: With Standard Package, Optional on 2-Door Standard 4x4 and 4-Door Standard 4x4 with 2.3L Engine.
Note: With 2.3L Engine – Includes Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist
Note:With 2.7L Engine – Includes Trail Control, Trail Turn Assist and Trail One-Pedal Driving

For BL- 10-Speed Automatic Transmission

Clearly Ford doesn't want to sell you the 2.3L & auto without the Mid-Package. If you want to force their hand they will gladly charge you $1595.
