Anyone having problems with satellite radio cutting in and out frequently. Mine is doing it even with light tree coverage. Not sure where satellite antenna(receiver) is on the bronco. My previous F150 was pretty obvious and didn’t respond like this. Waiting for the typical dealer comment “cannot duplicate “. Thanks

The satellite antenna is on the back cross-bar.

So how is this working through the roof or should I say lack of working consistently. I have a hard top.

I am also having the same issue with a hardtop. The kicker is that the interruptions are in spots that my wife's Bronco Sport and my old (now my daughters) Malibu have clear reception (granted they have sharkfin antennas). I have an OEM roof rack, and that was mentioned as a possible cause, but I removed it and the problem is still there. I don't notice any improvements.

I believe there was a thread a year or so ago, about a bunch of these antennas that were installed backwards(?). … 180 degrees off(?)….

IIRC, the thread also noted what to check to determine if it was installed/oriented correctly.

I can tell you that this is a constant problem with the Bronco but a non issue with my F-150 on the exact same roads, the F-150 literally never cuts out. My guess, the Bronco antenna is mounted under the hardtop while the F-150 is mounted on top of the roof.

I have same problem. Mine even cuts out if the tree cover near the highway is to tight to the road.

I experience the same issue. When line of sight is obstructed (even lightly at times) it will cut in/out. It’s not that bad or often and I can live with it.

Check TSB 22-2096

This is specifically for years 21 and 22. However, perhaps a new employee is working the satélite antenna installation “station”, and has gotten a bunch mis-oriented again.

My reception is fine.
