getting an email from Ford about production dates, etc? Tried searching but didn’t find anything.

Set day of the week when emails about production dates etc. is sent out?
Fridays, I believe.
Scheduling takes place on Thursdays. But not every Thursday.

Is that when the customer would expect to get their updates from Ford? Or is that interoffice at Ford?

That is the typical day people would see an email correspondence from Ford. As mentioned by @BlueBronco though , they don't schedule every week though.

Yes and no.
Initial scheduling week and VIN is announced on Thursday. Updates are random and far and few between.

You will receive a email from Ford directly aslong as they have your correct email address. Typically Thursdays and fridays when they are sent out if they are scheduling for builds that week.
Just to add to this, Monday is when we learn what will be scheduled on Thursday so look for that thread.

Exactly, my last e-Mail from Ford was way back in early May and yet my Production week and status have both changed multiple times with no notification. I tend to get better results calling into the support/marketing group.
