I did some dirt roads this weekend and hit a washout going across the road going kinda fast (20mph). Now I have a shimmy at 80MPH.

what are the top culprits to look for?

Front end alignment, balancing the tires (will also detect if you bent a rim).
IF it did not do it before the washout, and now does, it's pretty much going to be found in getting both done asap.
If the alignment IS out, it does not take long to start cupping tires. And once that starts it's like it accelerates itself into needing new ones (and an alignment to not kill brand new tires) really quickly.
I've had mine lined up 4 times now at about $100 per time. Twice due to lift, once due to eating up the factory GY at 20K miles, and once again after more "spirited" offroading.
$100 is not pocket change for most of us, but it sure beats $2K worth of rubber.
And in each time of those 4 alignments, it was off a noticeable amount.

If the shake is in the steering wheel it is the front tires.

If the shake is in the seats it is the rear tires.

You probably lost wheel weights.

Update: I thought it was mud on wheels in the beginning and I found a bunch in my wheels. I hosed them out and the shimmy was still there.

I went out and took a closer look and I found a slug of mud hidden behind the wheel spoke. Cleaned that out and cleaned off some mud still on my front driveshaft. All good now, smooth up to 90MPH.
