We just finished up a few more exterior mods on Chanel, just in time for this past weekend's Fabulous Fords Forever event. I've posted in here previously when I added the Halo Doors from Anderson Composites, and the 5" Fenders from Advanced Fiberglass Concepts. I've since added the flush taillights from Oracle and a custom top from Jtops. But tying it all together are the racing stripes we added on Saturday night before the show.
I'm a lifelong Bronco and Mustang fan, and have always thought of the Bronco as the off-road muscle car. What the Mustang is to the street, the Bronco is to the trails. So I've always wanted to put Shelby stripes on one of my Broncos, and we finally made that happen. I think the body kit we've put together using the ADV fenders and hood, and Anderson halo doors accentuates that concept perfectly. Like all Broncos it looks its best topless (in my opinion) so the custom printed top from Jtops gave me the opportunity to continue the stripes over the top. And the Oracle flush taillights help keep the clean lines.
For anyone who cares, the vinyl is Oracal Night Blue Metallic. I laid it out myself and had a local sign shop do the vinyl cutting. Since I always get the "what lift and tires" question, it's running ICON EXP shocks with the front on the taller setting and the rear on the lower setting, so it comes out just about level with the weight of the top and factory doors off. Tires are 35" Nitro Trail Grapplers on ICON Rebound Pros with 0mm offset.
