Maybe focus on getting current orders built first, before messing with a new package, if that what this unless video was eluding. You cant get FIRST editions out FIRST. Focus on the 25 meter target, then start moving the focus after initially hitting the closer milestone.

I would guess that they are still going to have the raptor name for the “warthog” but I do wonder if they plan to have ANOTHER version made by Shelby…

There is also the possibility that, like Roush, you will be able to get your bronco customized by Shelby. Very interesting either way!

So… what do you guys think? Will there be the Ford Raptor in a 3.5 ecoboost and a Bronco Shelby 5.0 or 5.2 v8 offered? Wouldn’t surprise me if the V8 has just 1-2 more horsepower than the Wrangler 392. If Jeep is able to fit a 6.4L in the Wrangler, I don’t see any reason why Ford couldn’t do a v8 as well.

All I saw was a 90 second clip of Shelby Hall driving off road at a road course vs a Shelby 500. And then saying that Shelby (Carol Shelby) company should do a Bronco.

The driver of the GT 500 was apparently Gary Patterson, President of Shelby American Inc. So when he says "I think Shelby should do something with that [pointing to the bronco]", it gives me hope that something is in the works.

Do you all think it will just be a tuned 2.7 ? Hard to see them swapping in a v8?

The Shelby Raptor is a tuned 3.5 EcoBoost. If they didn't drop a v8 into that, then I am leaning toward them staying with the 2.7 on the Bronco.

Actually, I want the Bronco Boss 3.5l or Bronco Boss 302 to be a thing. Put the 3.5l Ecoboost in there or the 5.2 liter flat plane V-8. Winning...

there will probably be multiple shelby variants the shelby baja raptor was a tuned 3.5 v6 with 525hp, the new 2021 shelby raptor has an option for a 770 hp predator 5.2 v8, either way youre probably talking well over 100k for either one, out of my price range unless i win the lottery
