Where did you get these? Agree, looks very clean. Can you share the link or model?

NFab Nerf RS Bolt right in factory rock rail holes and very easy install. Very reasonably priced as well.

Despite having tube steps, I have to occasionally carry one of these to help her get up into the truck:

Probably the cheapest option, that doesn't reduce the ground clearance at all.

I swapped out my OEM running boards to DV8 side steps. Made of steel for actual rock sliders and they sit up higher and gained me 2” of clearance. BONUS they also cover the pinch welds.

I have the Havoc Trailcrawler steps. Sturdy, well built, attractive, and not too expensive. They took 15 minutes to install, and it was my 10 year old who threaded and ran the bolts in with the impact while I held the steps in place.

I find that most side steps (factory or aftermarket) are actually too high. They do help you get up, but you then have to really duck your head to actually get in. Both my wife and I have this issue. (5 8" and 6 0")

On my Badlands I took off the factory side rails with the AIG steps (2" lower V2) installed because they were too high. I replaced with AMP Power Steps. When deployed the steps are lower than before, and make it easier to actually get in the truck. When you shut the door the steps are tucked up nice and high and out of the way. Like most of us, I don't need a slider as I do not Rock Crawl.

I have the Rock Slide Engineering side steps on my 4-door for the same reasons. These do have added protection but at a higher cost.
