Do you have measurements on how high the FatCat is off the roof when mounted to your rack. I have about 7-7.5 inches of clearance to work with. With our full roof rack, you can still take the front two panels off as well as the middle panel. You can mount the Yakima FatCat Evo line or the Yakima FreshTrack line on our rack. The Yakima SkyBoxes will also mount up to our rack if you do not want your skis/snowboards exposed to the elements!
Unfortunately, we do not have the height measurement of the ski racks themselves. Our rack will add about 3.845" of height to your Bronco. Yakima may be able to answer the question of how tall the racks sit off a crossbar!Do you have measurements on how high the FatCat is off the roof when mounted to your rack. Digging up an older thread as ski season is again approaching. I never bothered to get skis, just boots, so I don't have the knowledge that some of you have, but I wonder why you don't have the solution that cyclists can use when they need it? Maybe the material is too porous to protect from road spray. Exposed ski gear is the best way to trash your edges and wax job. Get it in a coffin box, a gear bag, or put it inside the rig.
Take care of your gear.
