Gas tank skid for a 2DR??? or just 4DR. Also do they fit a 2.3 and a 2.7. Because some only fit a 2.3. It looks like that skid has the notches for the 2.7 crossmembers. It is hard to tell with just renders and not being on a Bronc.

edit: also how thick are they????? 1/8, 3/16, 1/4. Don't need them twisted like a pretzel after the first trip off road. 😁

To be the troll that I am, what models do these fit? Your missing way to much information on what your selling.
Completely valid trolling. I'll start putting more details into the "teaser" posts. Lesson learned.

The skids fit 2&d4dr, obviously the gas tank skid is a bit shorter for the 2dr. Also fits both 2.3 an 2.7.

All details are on the product page, but happy to answer any more specific questions not addressed there.

Everyone can do better in adding descriptions to products, we're no different. Let us know what you guys want to see in descriptions to make it easy.

Best,
Brave

The tank fits the 2DR too. There is an option in Stage 3 on our site to indicate which one you would want. Yes they also fit the 2.3 and 2.7. We would recommend cutting or sourcing a transmission cross-member without the diagonal supports (ford dealer, junkyard) or just cut them out, if that's the case for you. That version of our skid has much higher clearance. If you opt to cut the diagonal supports the rigidity added to the chassis from our skid plates more than compensates for the loss of those supports.

And they are 3/16" steel. They'll scratch if you bash them hard enough, but won't twist on you.

Thanks for the response, good info to know, very interesting. I have seen others chop them off. I was going to just move them to the inside of the frame with mounts and tubing to the crossmember and custom make a skid at some point. But for right now was just going to use some plastic material like @broadicustomworks did on the OEM craptastic after thought on the 2.7. :cautious:

Your rock sliders look very similar to my Shrockworks. I love the shape and tread plate style, but I wish they had more than 2 frame mounts each.

The bumper is nice and clean, I like it!
