2 dr WT - Live on and around messy dirt roads and a lot of item 4. . Already have IAG mud flaps (front & rear).

Is one slider better than the other? Is one more protective?

Driving breakdown:. Dirt road 55%, Paved road/highway :42% , Off road: 3%

Don’t care about the step - it‘ll only be for guests…

The sound of rocks hitting my Bronco is painful.

I have the GOAT with top plate, bought them last November when they were running a sale.

I will say that American made with American steel was a big selling point for me.

I've had them for several months now without issues. I've also been high centered and in narrow channels. The rails do what's advertised and are robust.

I ordered the RCI with top plate for my yet to be built Wildtrac. I also have the RokBlokz XL flaps. I also live on a gravel road. That will be the first order of business when I take delivery. GOAT looks like an awesome product I went with RCI for the frame mount.

also, another point was when I was shopping GOAT mounts in the same place my tube steps did with no additional mods or brackets etc. If I remember correctly, I emailed RCI about some questions/concerns and got no response. Another plus for GOAT.

I have the RCI Rocksliders with top plates (wife and kid actually use the steps).

They are super solid and have the exact look that I wanted. When I changed my wheels, I couldn't find a good spot to place my jack, so I just used the rockslider. Zero issues - very solid and easy to install. No modifications are needed.

RCI you can get either the flatter/step rockslider or the ones that are tucked up against the body more for better clearance.

Thinking of modifying my mudflaps - or purchasing new ones - but will wait to see if the sliders make a difference. Interesting, I thought the Goat sliders were frame mounted too, but that was more assumption than anything else.

I have the 2 door goat sliders that are waiting for my Bronco arrive. Super impressed with the quality. I emailed a question to them once they arrived I got a call back within 20 mins and was taken care of. He told me to call him back directly with any other questions or concerns. Hard to find companies like that these days.

I've got the rci 20°, don't hear near as many rocks but changed tires as well. Really nice, super solid, easy to install and provide a good step up for shorter humans.
I live in Colorado so that swayed me to rci products, I always like to support local businesses when I can. Packaging was really good too even with local pick up.

Goat Fab and love them. I am on gravel road and they stop all rocks for the most part. I will test them out in Moab in 3 weeks.
