I'm really surprised something isn't available yet. Just a simple slider is all I'd want ...
This is a feature that just about every car company I can think of has removed over the last 15 years alongside rear glass that opens separately from the tailgate on SUVs or magic tailgates on wagons.
Reason is pretty simply money. It costs a lot of money to engineer and manufacture glass to open and by eliminating a feature 99% of people won't vocally complain about missing, they can spend more on the electronics and safety systems that the market does want without overall increasing the price of the car.
