Agreed. Man that red dash on a Rubicon I built was very strange choice in my opinion. The grey dash I don't think looks terrible but prefer the dash on the base model.

I've been considering a WildTrak for the brown interior as I think it might be more important to me than the swaybar disco on the Badlands. This despite my firm belief that the Badlands is the true Rubicon fighter that won't face as much real internal competition from the coming Warthog.

All said though, I have dealers contacting me about a used 911 and a new Defender so I have no idea what my future holds and I'm a sad, lost soul. Send help.

Everyone is freaking because the majority of cars have a black/dark dash top and this is what most peeps are use to. If you want a dark dash then go to the outer banks and if this bothers you so much then don’t buy a bronco and cancel your account here and move on. Don’t waste your time complaining and making fun of Ford. We all work hard for our paychecks and if you think Ford has wronged you then don’t spend your money on their products. It is really a simple decision.

...its always been that way. IMO, it would look better inverted. The interior piece should be lighter, not darker. I am probably vinyl wrapping the black center piece white.

OMG! I just went back and looked at all of my pictures....how the hell didnt I notice that grey before?! I'm freaking devastated.

If you didn't notice it in every photo, it's probably not that bad. Did it take someone else pointing it out to make you not like it?

I only just noticed with those new over head shots posted. I must have been focused on everything that is going on in the interior and completely missed the color.

That terrible red dash is a big reason I didn't seriously consider a Rubicon. I just couldn't imagine staring at that everyday. It could be that Jeep ended up thinking the same thing and fired that person. Who was immediately hired by Ford...
