Hello to all. Just wondering if anyone else has run into any issues with this.
Few days ago I got on the highway with the front of my soft top unlatched. The whole thing blew back and bent the passenger side metal arms on the soft top. Ended up finding one on FB brand new, and upon install I’m having issues with the second “hook” style locks locking into place. The seal happens to b off as well.
The damage occurred to the left side of my old soft top too, causing it to not even latch in the back or up front. So I’m a little lost, should I replace the quarter panel reinforcement? Or do you think the “hook” style lock plates need to be replaced?
I knows it’s all hard to say without photos, but anyone that has run into similar problems please let me know!! I’m thankful you all!
I attached photos of the drivers side that is sealed up perfectly, and the out of alignment passenger side.
