Didn't know where to post this.

Never had a jeep or convertible. Maybe someone that has can chime in. I know the the soft top windows can scratch easily. Does anyone have tips for proper storage when they are off to minimize risk? If they are stacked on each other in the cargo area I figured this could cause micro scratches. I was thinkin making a bag with partitions of a soft material to separate each window from touching.

I know it is unavoidable, but want to do anything I can to minimize. Too bad they can clear bra the window :LOL:

Thanks.

Thanks, that is super helpful! The photos look like there are fabric dividers. Is that accurate?
Yeah, from the recent reviews (one from a Bronco owner), there are fabric dividers. I get mine in tomorrow and can report back.

Yep, my bad had some things come up yesterday.

Storage bag seems pretty good for the $47. Outside seems pretty durable, and should withstand being tossed around. The inside has individual fabric sleeves so your windows are not rubbing/scratching each other. One thing I wasn't expecting, the bag unzips to the point you dont have to maneuver your stuff into a bag, if that makes sense. You can lay it out completely flat and add your windows one at a time, then zip it up.

I have the Amazon $47 one as well. Works good. The BJD looks nicer (and I'm sure it is). Amazon one is from China so we'll see how long it lasts.

I purchased one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0923YJJZ3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Unavailable at the moment, but come back in stock often. I paid $47, which was the lowest price the past several months, averages about $60.

Edit: This one looks to be the same and available.
@straycat
Looks like the first one you linked is in stock now again. Can you tell me if the rear window corners fit without curling and possibly scratching the glass? Also looks like it can strap to the rear head rests? Can it also strap the bottom to floor hooks or just hang from head rest?

There are "pockets" on each side that should hold the rear window corners, but so far I have always curled them in (the outside fabric does not appear to be a threat to create scratches). There are only the top straps to hang from the head rests, nothing on bottom to hook onto the floor.
