I had two goldens in a house with concrete floors and @TX-Hans hit the nail on the head with "fur tumbleweeds." My wife and I used to joke about that all of the time. I came home to her literally in tears one day. When I asked what was wrong, she said "I keep dusting and dusting but the hair comes back before I can even get done with one piece of furniture."
