A new plate bumper version is in the works for those who aren't hybrid fans!

Probably a dumb question, but is the factory cord for the camera long enough for relocation on the bumper? Or do I need to order a longer cord?

It's long enough, but you have to separate it from the other wires. If I did it again, I would buy a extension cable
ETA this bumper is great đź‘Ť

I ended up using an extension and it made it really easy. Bumper is great! Have you noticed any drop in gas mileage since you put it on?

I put a lift and 35s at the same time. 🤷‍♂️

That’ll do it. I’m not sure if the extra weight or removing the shutters or some combo dropped it, but it seems to have gone down a little.

Wondering what is the reason for removing shutters?

The directions I had said to, because a tab was in the way of a bracket. Thinking about it now I’m wondering if the shutters should have gone back on. Everything is running fine with no codes showing. I honestly don’t know the right answer here. I don’t want to remove the bumper to put them back in, but I will if I need to. To add on, it could have been implied to reinstall them, but I didn’t catch that.

When I installed mine, there were no instructions! I cut off the outermost mounting tabs of the bracket and had just enough clearance to reinstall them.

I ended up doing pretty much the same thing. They’re back on and no issues.

My vids are too large to post, but I really put it through the wringer this weekend and had no issues with approach angle…plenty to spare actually.

I’m on the fence between this and the BAMF bumper. Love this design! A little concerned with how much it protrudes out the front. Can you share some more pics of that aspect and maybe a measurement?

Also, I haven’t done much to my Badlands yet. I’m concerned this may look goofy until I get lifted and bigger. What size tires, lift, etc are you running on yours?

Anyone have pics on stock to mildly modified?
