Any military in here? Check to see if the state you'll be registering the bronco in has military programs.

I just checked Minnesota's, and if I'm reading this correctly, I'll purchase the bronco TAX FREE. Normally around 7%, so that will save around 2-3 grand!

Screenshot of Minnesota's military policy from their website:

I recommend checking military auto source. Some good info in there, and it's why I stumbled into checking Minnesota's policies.

I have to pay the full tax when I buy a new vehicle...But my annual registration after that is like $9 for the rest of the time I own the car.

That's what vet status gets in you OK.

That's still a pretty good deal. Over time that savings on annual registration will really add up

Are you sure registration tax is the same as sales tax? Could be different

We don't have any of those crazy sales taxes, or state income tax...for now.

Permanently disabled vet and this is my 2 year registration fee in Florida, on the car in my avatar.

In addition to that, license renewals and any changes to endorsements, or license are free for life. Home property tax would normally be $2,000+ a year and I pay under $600.00. Florida really loves their Vets
