My 2022 Wildtrak is coming in within the next few weeks (fingers crossed), and one of the first things to go will be the factory plastic bumper. I have a take-off factory steel rear bumper sitting in the garage waiting for the truck. I need to get ahold of the correct retainers for the parking aid sensors. What I have found on Lakeland Ford Online Parts is that they are showing the same part numbers for steel and plastic rear bumpers for these retainers.

Here are the links to each page for the rear bumper sensor & wiring parts diagrams.

WITH STEEL
https://parts.lakelandford.com/a/Fo...ear-bumper-Electrical-components/ML21975.html

WITHOUT STEEL
https://parts.lakelandford.com/a/Fo...ear-bumper-Electrical-components/ML21976.html

I thought it would be pretty obvious that the retainers would be different steel vs. plastic. But they are showing the same parts numbers. Does anyone have the correct part numbers? Or can you point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Bump. Does anyone have access to the Ford catalog/diagrams for the rear bumper?

Bumping this one for a reply. I changed my plastic bumper to the oem steel one and the retainers are definately different, the key notches dont match either.

Thanks for any replies!

I'd also like to know if anyone has the part numbers
I picked up a steel rear bumper and can't find the correct part numbers for the parking sensor retainers

Thanks for the reply
Did you order these parts? Were they the correct parts?
If you look up the plastic bumper, the diagram shows same part numbers for the retainers and that's not possible they are definitely different

I did not order them. I just looked them up using the catalog. They don’t share any of the same part numbers.

The plastic bumper shows:

4 inner retainers with a part number of
M2DZ-15K681-BA

And 4 outer retainers with a part number of
M2DZ-15K861-AA
M2DZ-15K861-AB
M2DZ-15K861-AC
M2DZ-15K861-AD

Good question. I never looked at the prices. That’s also retail price though, you can find them online for ~$80. Still very expensive though. I’m not sure why. I wonder if it’s a mistake or typo? I don’t see how it’s any different from the other inner retainer

I am in the same predicament. I bought the retainers from Ruxer. The outside retainers were around $6.50 each and the inner ones are $4.50 and $76!

I bought two of the $4.50 inner retainers hoping that between that and what comes off my plastic bumper, I can make something work.

Maybe a little RTV if all else fails, but I can't see me paying that much for a plastic clip.

That has been the case for a bit, one of the clips is 10x the price as the rest, but it is the correct part number and the correct item came from Ruxer 🤷‍♂️

I'm looking to swap out my plastic bumper with a factory steel one that I just bought too. Were you able to make everything work with the clips that you bought? Did you use the same sensors or are they different?
