I never looked at this antenna or a Cravenspeed as anything more than a better looking replacement for stock antenna. I use Apple CarPlay and subscriptions/iPhone for everything. Am I missing something other than local radio?
It's 2022 and it's embarrassing to have those 1950 antennas, but I get why. Ford assumes the Bronco will be popular with people in remote rural areas and those places need the old school antennas, or so I've read. However, it is very unpleasing to the eye, and with the height of the hood on the Bronco, it's too tall, so most people opt to get the shortie antennas. Signal is weaker, but it looks much better, at least for me. It was one of the first things I swapped out.
