I've searched these threads and google and still no OBX mud flaps I can find? Would a MOD like someone did on the rock rails work? I'm still getting a little bit of kick up between my fender flare and step up thing.

It doesn't look like I'll be getting my OBX anytime soon. If you give trimming a set of flaps a try, please PM me to let me know if I'm right. I really think it can be done.I'd be willing to cut some down for a bit to get by.
If not I'm planning on putting Xpel over the handles, back fenders and that front little corner right between the front fender and step. I feel like that's a pricey way of doing it though.
Maybe I'll try the stock $50 ones and just cut off anything that hangs below the step. emailed my dealer. It doesn't look like I'll be getting my OBX anytime soon. If you give trimming a set of flaps a try, please PM me to let me know if I'm right. I really think it can be done.
Ordered and installed this universal set. Not perfect but does cover gap I was concerned with.Maybe I'll try the stock $50 ones and just cut off anything that hangs below the step. emailed my dealer.
If you get a chance could you post a couple pics? That would be great. Those look like what I was thinking about before I spent to much, and messed up an expensive set.Ordered and installed this universal set. Not perfect but does cover gap I was concerned with.

A bit shrewd but will work for now. Main goal was to cover the gap within tread pattern between step and tire. Ideally knock down some of the rocks and salt. Better than nothingIf you get a chance could you post a couple pics? That would be great. Those look like what I was thinking about before I spent to much, and messed up an expensive set.

Were there pre-existing holes or did you have to drill new ones?A bit shrewd but will work for now. Main goal was to cover the gap within tread pattern between step and tire. Ideally knock down some of the rocks and salt. Better than nothing
New ones with the short tap screws in kit. Ended up with only one in back of flare. There’s a spot on the non SAS flare where you can ensure you don’t come out other side. No harm no foul when better solution comes available. Were there pre-existing holes or did you have to drill new ones?
