No, I had to buy the tpms triggering device to get the computer to read the new oem sensors, but they're all working along with the stubby antenna.Anyone have interference with their TPMS with a replacement antenna?
Helical wound are more efficient. The longer the better. Like most things.I looked at a lottttt. Hi end, low end before changing. At first I was set on the stubby. Wanted to eliminate the whole look of the old antenna. But then I saw a comment from someone saying that aesthetically it didnāt look proportional to the vehicle. That changed it instantly for me personally. So I went on a hunt for a 13ā height one. About the height of the windshield approx. ā¦.maybe just a little shorter. I have not lost reception itās is exactly the same if not better, and so far so good. Itās about half the size of the original OEM. Thereās so many out there that you can change it up anytime you want. I also luv the squared off top. I know everyone has their own personal taste. But this is the one I have for now.

Update: I swapped the whippy antenna back on after upgrading speakers. The little antenna seems like it loses a whole octave of lower frequencies. I also got a ton of interference from my ditch lights, which is minimal with the long antenna. This one has worked really well. Almost as good as the factory antenna and really impressive for its size. I'm a terrestrial radio guy, so it matters to me.

Edited to add a quick (oops, terrible) photo.
So how has your swap been working for you?
Not bad. I tend to listen to Sirius more that AM/FM. When listening FM, I do notice some stations dropping on a trip where the OEM antenna would hold on a bit longer. The stubby does grab HD radio. I donāt have enough data to know if better/worse/same as the OEM. Overall, I like it and worth the money. Iām also pleased not having it hit the garage overhang and door.So how has your swap been working for you?
Thanks for the info. I might check back down the road again. I use my fm radio quite a bit, so I am not sure I want to sacrifice any distance. Not bad. I tend to listen to Sirius more that AM/FM. The main antenna has nothing to do with XM/ Sirius. The antenna for the satellite radio is on the top of the roll cage crossmembersI have this one:

the signal for XM is fine, the FM/AM is much weaker, but I don't listen to FM so to me, nbd.
Being somewhat OCD if I couldn't index that antenna so the slant points straight ahead I would feel discomfortI'm using the Rydonair 13" stubby antenna. Better reception than the stock antenna. On their website it says it is made for the Ford F150 but it also fits the Bronco as well
