Yeah that 10mm bolt is out now. That was my before pic so I can compare when reconnecting it. I’ll try a bigger screwdriver. Mine might be too small 😬
Be EXTREMELY careful not to move the steering wheel while the shaft is disconnected...the splines are very small, one spline off and the steering wheel will be off center.

Bought a bigger screwdriver to try to pry the shaft off. I'll check the straightness of the steering wheel and mark it before i proceed.

The saga is nearing the end. Are people just using brute force to get the steering shaft back in place? I have just the tip in for now so it won't move but i cant get it any further. Also Lower Control arm rear bolt hole won't line up. I think using the spring compressor to try to turn the shock position slightly should help there

You'll need to spread the u-joint a bit to get the shaft back in...same as when removed. You should be able to get enough movement from the LCA to get the bolt in...a jack underneath the LCA may help.

This is where the suggestion to mark it would be handy. The steering shaft will only go on one way, but ya gotta line it up correctly.
