Ash, in my experience when there is a high profile decision (and I expect Ford knows we're watching) HR will try to push it off as long as possible. When they have an employee on hold they have no sense of urgency. I dealt with H.R's little games for many years in my second life. And, it seems every H.R. Dept. in every large company is the same.
