on the opposite side of the spectrum; Have three vehicles currently, all in perfect working order, the Bronco toy is not expected for years due to Ford deciding to not take the number of reservations holders at a dealer into account when determining allocations. I am so far out that the steer my victory steak will be chopped from is still a gleam in his daddy's eye.

Having said that, I will be cross shopping the new 4runner, the Jeep Grand Cherokee when Jeep gets their straight six engine (the Pentastar is weak sauce and the hemi block has the oiling problems on the cam, I refuse to ride on the 345/392 ticking time bomb).

Will I get one of those? Who knows... Ford choosing to not keep their word on the reservations has lost them a 'for sure' sale and made it a maybe one. I keep the order because it costs me nothing, might be a good deal when it does arrive, but it gives me a chance to look at the competition (for my use) for the next couple years. If Ford keeps up with their price protections (not much chance they will in my opinion), it might be a really good deal and I will pick it up regardless of if I buy something else in the interim.
Jake, if you're in the same boat as me you may be good. Mine's so far out by the time I get a Bronco it will be just another SUV among the many others. I'm thinking we may be in line for some good incentives, because Ford can't sell them like they do now. :)

Disclaimer: That is if I still want the damn thing when that time comes.

Sucks. My car was just totaled and now I had to change my order to get it a little sooner. No idea when that will be, but I’m carpooling now with my wife.

being stuck at home during the pandemic didn’t strain our marriage, but her patience with the radio might:LOL::ROFLMAO:

all kidding aside, if you’re 3-weeks away, you may want to talk with the dealer because if they fix it, they may be understanding of the work performed prior to the trade in, because if it’s busted, they’ll dock you value from the trade in, anyway.
I too totaled my truck (Oct 14) and am now driving my wife’s old Prius since she ordered a Crosstrek in September and got it last week. Drove my Cobra for a month while we waited on hers to come in. Being in construction and driving a Prius gets you a lot of crap thrown your way. I got a long wait…

I think I can survive the wait, but not sure my wallet or my Explorer can. About 6 months ago, I put $2,000 into a new power distribution module. Today one of my turbos failed. Replacing that and two catalytic converters is going to cost me another $3,700. I can’t NOT make the repairs, because the truck is worth like $15k in trade. But man, it really sucks sinking money into this thing when I am less than 3 weeks from my build date. Any one else struggling to make it with their existing ride?
Yes 06 F150 5.4 3 valve needs all the timing replaced. Only a month away from my build date
